October 22, 1923 - August 5, 2013Flora Adkins, age 89, of Crestview, Florida passed away Monday, August 5, 2013 at Silvercrest Manor. She was born October 22, 1923 in Anderson County, Tennessee to the late William Kelly and Mary Pyles Burress.
Flora is survived by one son, Larry Adkins and wife Patty of Troutville, VA; granddaughter, Heather Adkins also of Troutville, VA; three brothers, Kelly Burress and wife Dorothy of Crestview, FL, Bobby Burress of Lyburn, WV, and Billy Burress of Ohio; one sister, Joyce Hatfield of Lyburn, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Flora’s life was held Friday, August 9, 2013 at the chapel of Davis-Watkins Crestview Memorial, 492 East Pine Avenue, Crestview, Florida 32539, officiated by Pastor Chuck Griffin.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to special friends Judy and Bonnie and the entire staff of Crescent Park Village and Silvercrest Manor for their wonderful care.
